Contents: This kit includes four palette knives total — two of each size. The smaller knives measure approximately 1 inch (2.6 cm) across and 8.3 inches (21 cm) long; the larger pair are about 1.4 inches (3.5 cm) wide and 8.7 inches (22 cm) in length. Two pieces per size provide backups or allow for dedicated uses.
Construction: Handles are crafted from beech wood for a sturdy, comfortable grip that resists warping and breakage. Blades are stamped from stainless steel that can flex to varying degrees for scraping or spreading without easily corroding. The overall build is light enough for extended use while remaining resilient for regular painting tasks.
Intended uses: These knives serve multiple roles in the studio: spreading and pre-mixing paints, smoothing and smudging surfaces, adding impasto texture, and scraping. They work with oil, acrylic and watercolor media and are useful for nail art, miniature and model work, body or face painting, rock painting and other craft projects.
Care and cleaning: Stainless surfaces are smooth and simple to wipe clean. For water-based paints, remove excess with a cloth and wash with warm water and soap. When used with oil paints, use a suitable solvent such as mineral spirits or a thinner to remove residue; avoid leaving the blade soaking for long periods to protect the handle and temper of the metal.
Ergonomics: The handles are smoothly finished and slightly contoured to fit the hand, helping control strokes and reduce fatigue. Each handle includes a hanging hole for convenient storage and quick access between sessions.
Pros
- Flexible stainless blades for controlled texture work
- Comfortable beech wood handles with hanging holes
- Includes two sizes, two pieces each for versatility
Cons
- Blades can feel thin for heavy-duty work
- Not all pieces may be perfectly uniform
- Requires solvent care after oil use to protect handles
VerdictA straightforward four-piece palette knife set that pairs bendable stainless blades with warm wooden handles. The set includes two widths for finer detail and broader strokes, and performs well for mixing, scraping and building texture across oil, acrylic and mixed-media work. It’s lightweight, easy to clean and comfortable to hold, though some users note the blades can feel a bit thin. Good value

Good quality pallet knives easy to use
Solid quality and familiar feel, similar to what you see on TV demo artists. I mainly use the smaller knife for detailed oil work — gives more control than a straight scraper.

These were not new
Liked the size and style but noticed scratches on the blades, which suggests prior use. Concerned I received a returned item.

Knives for mixing paint
Designed for mixing and they perform that task well. Easy to clean and flexible enough to blend efficiently. Good value and should last if cared for.

Work really good!!
Nice performance overall — easy to use and suitable for beginners or experienced painters. They’re sharp and do their job, though the blades feel a touch flimsy. Good value for the money.
