What’s included: 66 soft pastel sticks — 64 unique shades plus one extra black and one extra white — arranged in a fitted storage tray so each stick stays in place during transport.
Pigments and effects: High-pigment pastel formulation with four fluorescent colors that glow under black light or UV sources, useful for mixed-media and specialty effects.
Shape and handling: Each piece is a rectangular/square chalk (8 x 8 x 27 mm) that allows drawing with the tip for fine lines, the edge for thicker strokes, or broad faces for large-area laying in and smooth blending.
Packaging: The case is sized to slip into bags and kits easily; every stick sits in its own card slot to reduce movement, tipping and breakage during handling.
Suitable users: A versatile option for hobbyists, students, classroom activities, and more experienced artists looking to test color combinations or work on studies and sketches.
Safety and care: Non-toxic formulation intended for art use. Because the pieces are compact, handle with moderate pressure to avoid snapping; a fixative will help reduce smudging once a piece is complete.

Pros

  • Extensive color selection with fluorescents
  • Compact sticks with multiple stroke options
  • Fitted box keeps pieces organized

Cons

  • Small sticks can break under heavy pressure
  • Some sets may arrive with damaged pieces
  • Limited quantity per color due to compact size

VerdictThis set delivers a broad palette and solid pigments in a compact, travel-ready package. The square sticks offer good control for lines and large fills, and the included fluorescents add playful effects. Note the small size and tendency to break if pressed hard, but overall it’s a versatile kit for exploration and classroom use.

Reviews

  1. Cheri L. LePage 5/5

    Solid gift choice

Gave this as a present and it was well received. The recipient was pleased with the selection.

  2. J. 4/5

    Too small for heavy use

There are many colors, but I underestimated how tiny the sticks are. Each color will likely be used up quickly if you work a lot. Not something I’d choose again for frequent studio work.

  3. Almudena G. 5/5

    Nice feel and tones

I hesitated before ordering but these turned out very soft and pleasant to work with. Lovely colors and a smooth application — just what I wanted.

  4. Kerri 5/5

Works well for school art projects

I bought this for my daughter’s art class and the set covered all the needed tones. Everything arrived complete and the pastels performed as expected for classroom assignments.

Perfect starter collection for a beginner

Received today and I’m delighted. After seeing pastel exhibitions I wanted to try the medium and this set gives a huge range of colors presented neatly in a box. Great value for exploring a new hobby.

  6. Zachary Melton 3/5

    Great pigments but some broke

The colors are strong and beautiful, but several sticks arrived cracked. Performance is good when intact, just disappointed by the breakage.

  7. Nele-Marie Ronneburg 5/5

    Good quality, handle gently

Arrived on time and I tried them right away. The colors cover well and blend smoothly. It’s handy that black and white are doubled. Be careful not to press too hard or the sticks will snap. Overall I’m satisfied and would buy again.

  8. Jeannette Stutzman 4/5

Handy entry kit for group classes

Bought these for a children’s birthday art session — the variety helped the kids explore different colors. Good coverage for casual, classroom-style activities.

  9. Ceez 5/5

    Wide and vivid color selection

Vibrant hues that blend easily and offer plenty of variations. Ideal for drawing, sketching and practicing pastel techniques. A solid value for anyone who enjoys color work.

  10. Haylee Perry 5/5

    Colorful and exactly as hoped

Plenty of shades to work with and a nice feel when drawing. The materials matched my expectations and I’d pick these up again.

  11. M. Tanner 5/5

    Great introduction to pastels

I’m new to pastel work and these tiny sticks have been a joy to experiment with. The color range is generous and a little goes a long way, so the small size hasn’t been a problem for learning technique. They let me try blending and layering without a big investment, and I’m very pleased with them as my first set.

Generous gift set for an experienced artist

I bought this as a present for a longtime painting partner. It’s a large assortment — more than a beginner needs — but the sticks have a satisfying firmness that keeps them from crumbling away. They blend well with tortillions and respond predictably to erasers. Pigment payoff is rich and transfers cleanly to quality pastel paper. For touch-ups I used a light fixative to lock the pigments down. I’ll be replacing my older set with something like this when the time comes.
