Product review

This desktop microphone stand kit arrives with everything required for basic recording and streaming: a foldable tripod tabletop stand, a dual-layer pop filter mounted on a flexible 360° gooseneck, an elastic shock mount, a standard mic clip, and a 1/4" to 5/8" screw adapter. The package is intended to support a wide range of podcasting and streaming scenarios right out of the box.

The tripod uses a triangular gravity design so the center of mass drops during use, improving balance and helping prevent tip-overs. The legs fold flat for transport and storage, making the kit convenient for travel or quick desk reconfiguration. The stand’s two-stage pole extends from 11.5 inches up to 18 inches, giving simple height adjustment for seated or standing desktop work.

The shock mount is built with an elastic wrap-rope design to cradle mics with an outer diameter between 40 mm and 52 mm, isolating the capsule from desk vibrations and knocks. Important: the supplied shock mount does not fit Blue Yeti microphones. The mic clip accepts standard dynamic microphone barrels; the metal threaded adapter (1/4" to 5/8") lets you attach larger threaded microphone mounts and some USB microphones that use the larger screw size.

The pop filter provides two mesh layers to block plosives and sibilance; its flexible gooseneck rotates and bends a full 360° for precise placement in front of the microphone. Materials are a mix of lightweight metal for the tripod and gooseneck, with elastic suspension components in the shock mount and a plastic mic clip to reduce weight while remaining durable.

Compatibility covers many common models: Shure SM58/SM48 styles, Samson Q2U, Pyle-style dynamic mics, and several USB mics when used with the included adapter. It’s aimed at streamers, podcasters, video callers, and mobile creators who want a compact, multi-piece kit rather than a permanent boom arm or heavy base.

Pros

  • Complete accessory kit in one package
  • Stable triangular tripod design
  • Compact, foldable and travel-friendly

Cons

  • Shock mount won’t fit Blue Yeti
  • Base could use more weight for heavy mics
  • Lowest height may still be too tall for some setups

VerdictA compact, travel-friendly desktop mic stand package that supplies the common accessories needed for podcasting, streaming, and video calls. The tripod’s triangle gravity layout improves stability and the two-stage height range (11.5–18 in) covers most desktop setups. The included shock mount (40–52 mm) and double-layer pop filter reduce handling noise and plosives, while the 1/4" to 5/8" adapter

Reviews

  1. Mary E Redlinger 5/5

    Accepts most standard mics

Sturdy and reliable—fits the usual dynamic microphones without issue.

  2. Bermuda Shorts 5/5

    Good value for casual use

Includes a lot of accessories. Not for professional studios, but very handy for occasional recording and streaming.

  3. Hski 5/5

    Handy, compact stand

Does exactly what I expected. Compact and works well for my desk.

  4. Floyd W key 5/5

    Performs as described

Set up easily and functioned exactly as described in the listing.

  5. Author of KINGS & QUEENS 4/5

Works, but height can be limiting

Only gripe is the lowest setting is still a bit high for some setups. Otherwise it’s lightweight and easy to use.

  6. Robin Coulon 3/5

    Too narrow for my microphones

Shock mount and clip only fit narrower mic bodies; mine were too wide so I had to buy a separate clip. Otherwise well made and very portable.

  7. iWitness Media 5/5

    Great for repositioning a webcam

I bought a webcam that sat too high on my monitor and caused reflections from my ring light. Mounting it on the monitor also made it shake when the desk was bumped. Because the webcam uses a 1/4" thread, I needed a small stand that wouldn’t block my view. Most mic stands use a 3/8" mount, but this kit includes the 1/4" screw (plus a 5/8" adapter), so it let me lower and stabilize the camera with no fuss.

  8. Suzanne Eacott 2/5

    Not useful for my setup

I couldn’t fit my microphone to the clip, so it wasn’t usable for me.

  9. BiteSeeing Chicago 5/5

Stable, portable stand for many mics

Compact and foldable, it felt stable even with chunkier mics like a Yeti-style or Snowball-style body. Height is adjustable and the clip works with standard dynamic microphones I’ve used for streaming.

  10. Linda Lewis 4/5

    Lightweight; base could be heavier

Works fine but I wish the base had more weight for extra stability.

  11. Stéphane Cantin 5/5

    Solid and sturdy

    Very good and sturdy.
