Construction and comfort: Each splint combines a thin aluminum support with a soft foam lining. The inner foam cushions the injured digit while ventilation holes in the shell help reduce heat and moisture for more comfortable, longer wear.

Support and use: These metal splints are designed to gently extend and immobilize a damaged finger, preventing further injury without adding bulk. They stabilize injured thumbs, index, middle, ring and little fingers and can be used during sleep, light activities, or while awaiting professional care.

Fit and fastening: The kit includes hook-and-loop fastening straps that let you cinch the splint for a snug, secure fit. Straps are adjustable so the same splint can be worn on the left or right hand and adapted to different fingers.

Sizes and options: The package is offered in two styles and multiple quantities and sizes so you can choose what fits your needs. Typical lengths are approximately 3.14 inches (small), 3.93 inches (medium), and 4.72 inches (large) to accommodate various finger lengths.

Portability and practicality: Compared with full-hand braces, these metal-padded supports are slim and lightweight, allowing uninjured fingers to move freely. Their compact profile makes them simple to carry in a first-aid kit or toolbox for quick immobilization.

VerdictThese aluminum-backed finger splints provide firm support and padding for sprains, mallet finger, or other fingertip injuries. Lightweight and compact, they let other fingers move freely while keeping the injured digit extended and protected. The set includes multiple sizes so you can fit thumbs through pinkies, but expect occasional issues like strap cling, worn padding, or rare damaged/missing p

Reviews

  1. Artistjlm 5/5

    Black coating hides grime

Nice to have on hand. The black-coated splints show less dirt than the plain ones, which need frequent cleaning. I own several sets and have recommended them to friends.

  2. Brenda Hansen 5/5

    Sizing options available

    Available in several sizes.

  3. Mamá G 5/5

    Secure fit and comfortable

Fits well; the hook-and-loop strap holds firmly. Comfortable to wear and a good value.

  4. Itani 3/5

    Short one and one bent

I received only nine pieces and one was bent, so I only have eight usable splints. The usable ones work as intended, but I'm disappointed with the missing/damaged items.

  5. Exceptional quality and color! 5/5

Easy fix for strap cling — versatile use

If the strap grabs the wrong side, loosen it, flip the end and reinsert to stop it catching. The blue protective film peels off if it starts lifting. I keep different sizes for night, swimming, and going out; they help my mallet finger.

  6. Álvaro 5/5

    Handy set for multiple injuries

A useful assortment of finger immobilizers in several sizes. Good quality for stabilizing multiple finger injuries while awaiting specialist care or following a prescribed immobilization plan. Hook-and-loop straps hold securely and soft foam protects the digit.

  7. Allan Ambrochowicz 5/5

    Sturdy and reusable after injury

After a table saw cut and minimal ER care, I used gauze, wrap, and these splints. The finger healed well and stayed protected. They’re durable and reusable for future incidents.

  8. Christy Colõn 5/5

Works but needs kid sizes and spare padding

They do the job, but adding smaller child sizes and replaceable padding would help. I broke my pinky in two places and the splint supports it, though padding wear is a concern.
