Product review
What you get: a single 5 x 7 foot area rug printed with insect and plant motifs and a thin, low-pile construction suitable for placement under furniture.
Materials and construction: the face is made from soft artificial wool-like fibers designed to feel gentle under bare feet; pile height is approximately 0.19 inches. The backing is a TPE no-slip rubber material that helps prevent shifting on hard floors.
Care and cleaning: small spills and pet or baby messes can be blotted away with a cloth. For heavier soiling, the rug is designed to be machine-washable; toss it in a household washer for a deeper clean. The surface is non-shedding and easy to maintain in high-traffic areas.
Performance and use: the low profile allows the rug to fit under furniture legs and doorways, and its thin nature makes it suitable for living rooms, bedrooms, dining areas, nurseries, bathrooms, and seasonal spaces like cottages. The printed insect-and-plant pattern adds an artistic, natural touch without being overly bold.
Fit and feel: the fabric has a blanket-like softness that many find comfortable for barefoot use and lounging. Because it’s ultra-thin, it won’t add much height under doors or furniture but still provides a cushioned feeling.
Arrival and setup: the rug may arrive folded and show temporary creases. To smooth them, unroll fully and allow time for the fibers to relax; gentle warming in sunlight or smoothing by hand can help reduce fold lines. Rolling the rug briefly in the opposite direction before laying it flat can also accelerate the process.
Pros
- Very soft, non-shedding faux-wool surface
- Machine-washable for easy cleanup
- Low 0.19" pile with TPE anti-slip backing
Cons
- Ultra-thin construction can show delivery fold lines
- Edges may curl or fray after heavy wear
- Can feel slippery for very active play or pets
VerdictComfortable, low-profile floor covering that balances a soft, blanket-like surface with practical features for family life. The artificial wool-style pile feels very soft under bare feet and resists shedding; a TPE no-slip backing helps it stay put. Its 0.19" low pile makes cleaning crumbs and pet hair easier and allows the rug to tuck beneath furniture. Machine washing works for major stains, tho

Attractive, soft and easy to wash
Looks great in my bathroom and is comfortable under bare feet. I have multiple of these mats in different shades and they’ve held up well to regular washing.

Gorgeous, plush and exactly as expected
I adore this rug — so soft and the pattern is lovely. It’s slim by design because it’s washable, and it arrived folded but flattened out without harming the backing or print. Shipping took a while, but the rug was worth the wait.

Second purchase, still pleased
This is my second Lahome rug. The value keeps me coming back; it’s super soft and the older rug from two years ago still looks good after multiple laundromat washes. The green is a bit darker in person than expected, but I’m happy with it.

Durable through frequent washing
Quality is impressive — I’ve run it through a standard washer many times because of my dog’s accidents and it keeps its shape, color, and feel. The surface is very soft, which is lovely for people but slightly slippery for my dog when she tries to stand. Still, I’m converted to washable rugs.

Cozy but shows wear with heavy use
The rug is comfortable and feels great underfoot, but after less than a year the edges began to curl and fray and areas under furniture legs look worn. Spills clean up well, but vacuuming is a bit awkward. Reasonable for the price, but expect limited longevity in busy homes.

Transforms our cottage — plush and cozy
This rug completely updated our cottage. The colors feel warm and calm, not overpowering, and it’s amazingly soft for bare feet and kids playing. It settled flat quickly and seems sturdy enough for a busy, high-traffic vacation spot.

Helpful details for deciding to buy
I hesitated after reading mixed feedback but went ahead — glad I did. The photos online reflect the actual colors well; the print has a slightly worn, vintage vibe with rusty orange and soft ochre tones. Expect fold lines at first; I smoothed it from the center outward and later warmed it in sunlight for a few minutes to relax stubborn creases. Overall the pattern and colors are a crowd-pleaser.

Pretty colors, soft feel
Happy with the rug — colors are lovely and the texture is soft. The only oddity is that rubbing the pattern the wrong way can make the base color show through lighter, but it’s not too noticeable.

Lovely colors and softness, a few cautions
Picked the 6x9 for a reading nook and it’s perfect — deep, warm tones and very soft. It’s thin and a bit like a blanket with backing, so it can be slippery and isn’t ideal for running children. Flattening by steaming or ironing can change how the print appears depending on the nap, so take care when pressing out folds.

Comfortable under my desk — attractive tones
Beautiful rug, very soft on the feet and warm in tone despite photos looking cooler. It sits nicely under my office chair and the anti-slip backing keeps it mostly in place unless rolling a cart over it. Very pleased with this purchase.

Would buy again without hesitation
Almost skipped ordering because I can be picky, but no regrets. It looked great minutes after unboxing; camera exaggerates fold lines. No chemical smell, secure stitching, and rich colors. It’s soft yet still functions like a rug, and I didn’t need an underpad though I used tape to keep it extra secure.
