Product review

What’s included: a pair of refrigerator cable locks with combination dials, adhesive mounting pads, and a brief instruction leaflet. Each set contains two identical units so you can secure multiple doors or keep a spare.
Materials and dimensions: the tether is made from high-strength steel wire braided for flexibility and cut-resistance, typically encased in a protective sleeve. The lock housing uses a durable polymer and metal locking pin; cable length is compact to suit most appliance handles and cabinet pulls (about 5–6 inches / 12–15 cm usable loop). The adhesive pads are heavy-duty, high-bond tapes rated for smooth surfaces.
How it works: set a three-digit code on the combination dials, thread the steel cable through handles or around a lip, then insert the pin into the housing until it clicks. With the correct code entered, the latch releases instantly—no keys needed. To install, clean the surface, peel the adhesive backing, press the pad in place, and attach the lock housing; no screws or drilling required.
Where to use it: designed primarily for refrigerator and freezer doors but also effective on cabinet doors, laundry-room cupboards above washers/dryers, oven handles, tool chests and other drawers or doors with a suitable anchor point. It can be used on side-by-side fridges and many drawer configurations, though in some paired-door setups the orientation may invert one unit.
Support and returns: the product is sold as a two-pack and comes with customer support options for defective items within the first 30 days, including replacement or refund if the locks do not meet expectations.

    Very practical

Quick to install, feels secure, and does exactly what I needed — simple and effective.

  2. Abdulaziz 5/5

    Worth the purchase

Excellent quality and the adhesive holds very well.

  3. EDWARD BRYANT 5/5

    Saved my freezer contents

These have protected my freezer supplies — after previous full losses, these locks have prevented more mishaps.

  4. IMRAN 5/5

    Good quality

Solid construction and works as advertised.

  5. Kim 3/5

    Good build but combo failed

Well made and easy to install on a mini-fridge, but mine later failed to open with the code I set even after attempting a reset.

  6. uptownHBG 5/5

    Great for vacation rentals

Ideal for upper cabinets over washers at a rental — no drilling required. Note: when used on mirrored left/right doors one unit may install upside-down; pick a palindrome code if that matters.

  7. Fetaiai Tauiliili 5/5

    Worth buying for special needs

Do not listen to the naysayers — this is a solid investment if you need extra protection for a child with special needs.

  8. Vikki 5/5

    Long-lasting and reliable

Bought these years ago and they’re still holding strong. My curious toddlers have not been able to bypass them.

  9. anthony chiacchio 5/5

    Highly recommended

Simple to use and very reliable.

  10. Scott Moya 4/5

    Effective but not permanent

Performs well, though the locking mechanism showed wear after extended use.

  11. William Anderson 1/5

    Didn’t secure as expected

The lock seemed okay at first, but the pin can pop out if the door is opened at an angle. Not reliable for active kids or pets.

  12. mark pfromm 5/5

    Incredibly strong adhesive

Once the pad is set it really won’t come off — I tried to reposition and couldn’t; the bond is shockingly strong.
