Product review
What’s included: a single compact jar of thyme and tea tree salve intended for spot treatment and daily use. The formula blends thyme extract and tea tree oil with other botanical carriers in a balm base suitable for face and body application.
Materials and formulation: made with plant-derived ingredients, the salve is formulated without steroids or petroleum-based petrolatum. It’s presented as a concentrated ointment, so a small amount typically covers multiple applications.
Sizes and packaging: supplied in a travel-friendly jar designed to be applied with clean fingers or a cotton swab. Since it’s concentrated, a little goes a long way and the container is intended to last through several treatments.
How to use: apply a thin layer directly to affected bumps, razor bumps, ingrown hairs, boils or rough textured areas. For overnight care some users cover treated spots with gauze or a bandage. Always perform a patch test first and avoid contact with eyes or mucous membranes.
Pros
- Contains thyme and tea tree for targeted spot care
- Versatile for face and body flare-ups
- Concentrated formula — small amount per use
Cons
- Noticeable herbal scent some find strong
- Not for use on broken or highly sensitive skin
- Not recommended during pregnancy or breastfeeding
VerdictA multiuse botanical balm that many users find soothing for flare-ups, razor and ingrown-hair bumps, and textured or 'strawberry' legs. It’s free of steroids and petroleum and works topically for everyday face and body care. Results vary — some people see fast pain relief and shrinkage, others notice gradual improvement or better outcomes when used early. Overall, a practical, plant-based option f

Works well when used overnight
I’ve used this product for years. I dab it on a boil and cover with gauze overnight; it shrinks quickly and disappears. Will repurchase for sure.

Performs as described
Solid product that does what it claims. I’ll buy again if needed.

Visible improvement by morning
Applied before bed and a cystic bump was much less noticeable the next day. I’ve tried tea tree alone before and didn’t get this result — the thyme seems to add extra benefit.

Significant pain reduction for a painful boil
A painful groin boil had me limping; after trying this, the intense pain eased within hours and the area was much smaller by morning. Two days later it was far better. Highly recommend for painful cysts.

Effective drawing salve
Not sure of the exact mechanism, but it draws out troublesome bumps. A tiny amount works, so the jar lasts a long time. Strongly recommend.

Good results but pricey
It works with regular use, though I find it a bit expensive for how often I need it.

Okay — original formula preferred
It’s fine, but I preferred the original version I tried before.

Lifesaver for HS flare-ups
I rely on this cream for hidradenitis suppurativa—this is my second jar because few other things help. The smell is strong but tolerable given the relief it provides.

Immediate relief after first application
I received this a few hours ago and had to post — after weeks of painful summer bumps I used it and felt the pressure and pain ease within a couple hours. My swelling reduced fast, and I liked the herbal scent. Still early, but very impressed so far.

Helpful but not miraculous
It didn’t eliminate a mid-stage chin cyst, but it didn’t make things worse and may help reduce scarring. I like the thyme and tea tree scent. Might work best if applied earlier in the flare-up.
