Product review
This is a 10 ounce duck canvas made from 100% cotton, produced with a tight plain weave for a firm, stable surface. Each unit is sold by the yard and retains a roughly 60-inch width, making it wide enough for many upholstery and sewing uses.
Available length options are 1, 2, 3, and 5 yards so you can choose the amount that fits your project. When you order multiple single-yard pieces, each yard is shipped as its own cut rather than one continuous length.
The cloth is breathable but substantial — soft to touch yet rigid enough to keep shape for tote bags, cushion covers, storage bins, table coverings, and other home décor or craft items. Its dense weave helps stitches lock in place, making it straightforward to stitch with most domestic sewing machines.
Care and handling: the fabric may show light creases from folding and packaging; a low-heat iron will flatten them. If you plan to preshrink, machine washing and air drying will reduce the yardage slightly, so factor that into cutting layout. This canvas performs well for both functional and decorative projects that need a long-wearing cotton base.

VerdictA substantial, tightly woven 10 oz cotton duck suitable for projects needing structure and longevity. It cuts and sews cleanly on household machines, holds seams well thanks to the dense weave, and works for upholstery, bags, and utility textiles. Expect some folding wrinkles on arrival and normal prewashing shrinkage if you preshrink. Offered in multiple yard lengths with a 60" usable width, it’s

Good quality but shrank after prewash
Solid canvas. I always preshrink cotton for sewing and this piece did reduce in length — my two-yard cut lost about 6 inches, finishing around 66" by 60".

Useful for framing backs
Works excellently as backing for picture frames — strong and easy to handle.

Fabric fine but width slightly off
Material performed well for my needs, but the width was a touch narrower than described — I received about 35" instead of the listed 36". It will still work, but accurate sizing matters.

Arrived on time and solved my planter issue
Delivery was prompt. I wrapped a light-colored piece around an outdoor planter to protect roots from sun; the fabric did the job well.

Perfect for adding stability to projects
Bought this as a liner for a tote bag and it added just the right amount of stiffness. Definitely a heavier canvas than typical quilting cottons.

Satisfied — will use for backing
Happy with the weight and feel. Planning to use it as a backing material. Thickness is exactly what I wanted for added structure.

Thick fabric worked great for my bread couche
I bought this to use as a bread couche and was surprised by how heavy and tightly woven it is. I folded and zig-zag stitched the edges, machine washed and air dried it, and it kept its shape with no obvious shrinkage. Very sturdy canvas.
