Product review

Packaged in a 4.5 lb bag, this duck feed is presented as a complete pelleted formula designed to meet the needs of ducks at every stage. The product is meant to be fed straight from hatch through adulthood without adding other grain mixes for everyday nutrition.

Key nutrition highlights include a guaranteed 19% crude protein level and a minimum of 60 ppm (mg/kg) niacin to address the higher niacin requirement of ducklings for proper bone and leg development. The formulation also includes prebiotics and probiotics to support intestinal health and a robust immune response.

Usage is straightforward: offer the pellets as the primary ration from day one. For birds kept for egg production, add a dedicated calcium source to ensure adequate eggshell formation. The feed’s pellet form is small and palatable for most ducks, and it mixes easily into feeding stations or can be offered free-choice depending on your husbandry routine.

Because the bag is 4.5 pounds, it suits hobby flocks, backyards, or occasional visitors rather than large commercial operations. Store in a cool, dry place and follow standard feeding practices to keep rations fresh and accessible.
