Product review
This 11-piece painting kit includes five stainless steel palette knives and six plastic scrapers, offering a wide selection of shapes for different painting and craft tasks. The metal blades are tempered to be flexible yet sturdy, suitable for mixing paint, applying thick impasto, smoothing, scumbling and lifting color. The plastic scrapers expand the kit’s uses to model making, rock painting and working with pastes or clay.
Each metal knife has a molded plastic handle that fits the blade securely and keeps the tool lightweight and easy to manipulate. The scrapers are made from durable plastic in several profiles to help achieve varied textures and edge effects. Sizes and shapes range from narrow pointed blades for detail to broader spatulas for large swathes of paint, so you can pick the tool that matches your technique.
Cleaning is straightforward: wipe away excess wet paint, then wash metal blades with warm water and mild soap. For oil-based paints, remove residue promptly with a suitable solvent (such as mineral spirits) and avoid leaving blades soaking for long periods to protect the finish. The kit is intended for artists, hobbyists, students and crafters who want a variety of tools without hunting for individual pieces.
Pros
- Wide variety of blade shapes and sizes
- Durable stainless-steel blades
- Lightweight, comfortable handles
Cons
- Some scraper pieces run large for fine work
- Occasional fit or finish inconsistency
- Plastic scrapers are lower quality than metal knives
VerdictA versatile, affordable kit that supplies a range of blade shapes for spreading, scraping and building texture in oil and acrylic work. The stainless-steel knives are resilient and pair well with the included plastic scrapers. Some pieces vary in finish and size, but overall this set is a solid option for hobbyists and students wanting multiple tools in one pack.

Not what I expected
Very disappointed — several items are duplicates and a proper palette knife was missing.

Packaging arrived damaged
Nice set, but one of two boxes arrived crushed like it had been stepped on. I didn’t return it and kept the tools.

Fantastic value and variety
Five metal knives and six scrapers give a lot of options for mixing, layering and texture. The blades have good flex and the set lets you explore detailed and bolder techniques with ease.

High quality and easy to clean
I picked these up after trying a couple of others and I’m hooked. They clean easily even if paint has started to tack, feel well made, and spread material smoothly.

Jagged tools too large
The straight spatulas are fine, but the jagged-edge plastic pieces were overly big for my needs. I had to trim the blue serrated tools to make them usable.

Good with acrylics
These work fine — perform well when I use acrylics.

Knives solid, scrapers usable
The metal knives are sturdy and not flimsy; my only gripe is the tips are a bit rounded for fine precision. The plastic scrapers are okay — lower grade but functional and slightly large for delicate projects.
