The American Standard Elite ASE-90 is a continuous-feed food waste disposer built for routine kitchen cleanup. Powered by a high-torque permanent magnet motor rated at 3/4 horsepower and spinning at about 2,700 RPM, it’s designed to break down vegetable peels, plate scrapings, leftovers and small bones quickly to keep the sink area tidy. Note: horsepower numbers are a specification on packaging and don’t directly translate to measurable motor output in all operating conditions.

Noise and vibration are reduced by the Torque Master balanced grinding system, which evens out loads on the grinding components for smoother operation. The unit includes corrosion-resistant stainless steel grinding elements to resist wear and cut down on jams over time. A slim-line housing reduces the footprint under the sink, making it easier to fit in smaller cabinets.

Installation is straightforward: the disposal uses a standard 3-bolt mounting system so it can replace the majority of existing disposals without complex plumbing changes.
