Product review
This box contains fifty letter-size hanging file folders designed for standard filing rails. The set offers twelve distinct colors — orange, red, maroon, yellow, green, lime, blue, light blue, purple, pink, gray, and black — so you can create a clear color-coded system.
The folders are manufactured from 100% recycled fiber, containing 60% post-consumer material, and feature a lighter kraft interior that helps make folder edges and contents easier to see and reduces accidental misfiles between similarly colored outer surfaces.
Each package includes 1/5-cut adjustable plastic tabs and a sheet of blank paper inserts so you can label and customize each folder. The letter-size format accommodates standard 8.5 x 11 documents and is compatible with typical file cabinets and hanging file frames.
Use the assortment to separate clients, projects, months, or document types. The assorted palette is intended to brighten a workspace while offering practical organization. Multiple boxes make it straightforward to restock a filing system and clear desktop clutter.
Pros
- Made from recycled fiber with 60% post-consumer content
- Twelve vivid colors for easy color-coding
- Comes with adjustable 1/5-cut tabs and blank label inserts
Cons
- Hanger bars can feel thin and may occasionally be missing
- Top edges show wear over time on some folders
- Card stock is lighter than heavier-duty folder options
VerdictThese letter-size hanging folders are an eco-conscious, colorful solution for organizing home or small-office files. The pack includes 50 folders across a dozen shades, adjustable tabs and label inserts so you can sort and identify folders fast. Construction is serviceable for everyday use; those needing heavier-duty hardware may want a sturdier option.

Love the variety and slimmer top edge
The color range is lovely — pink is a favorite. I also like that these have the slimmer top rims instead of the bulkier ones I had before; I swapped mine out right away.

Mixed results: great colors, some hardware issues
Colors look excellent and tabs with inserts are included, but some hanger bars stuck, a few were missing in my two-box order, and the bars feel thinner. Card stock seems lighter and the top edge color can rub off.
