Easy power options and simple setup
The camera is designed to tap into the vehicle’s reversing light power so the display will automatically switch to the rear view when you back up. For a continuous rear image, the unit can be wired to tail light or license plate illumination circuits. The monitor receives power via the included DC cable and can be plugged into a cigarette lighter socket or a USB power adapter for plug-and-play use, reducing installation time and complexity.
Reliable digital video link and range
This system transmits HD 1080P video using digital frequency-hopping over a 2.4GHz WiFi channel to minimize interference. The digital link reduces lag and dropouts compared with analog systems. In open line-of-sight conditions the wireless signal can reach up to about 100 meters; within vehicle and trailer installations expect practical coverage near 33 feet, making it suitable for trucks, pickups, campers, hitches and small RV setups.
Advanced imaging and low-light performance
The camera uses an SC1346 color image sensor combined with a color filter to deliver strong daytime color and reduced image noise over a wide temperature range. It automatically switches to night-vision mode as light levels fall, producing clear monochrome images for reversing in the dark while still preserving good contrast and detail.
Tough sealing and temperature tolerance
A nano-coating sealing process brings the camera to an IP69 waterproof rating, protecting the electronics from heavy wash-downs, rain, dust and fine particles. The unit is rated to operate in extreme temperatures from about -22°F up to 176°F, so it holds up in a range of climates and working conditions.
Compact construction and mounting options
The camera housing is molded from ABS and PC materials while the monitor body uses similar robust plastics. The kit pairs a compact 5" LCD display — sized to avoid blocking forward view — with a 360° swivel suction mount made from ABS and TPU. The monitor can be mounted on the windshield or dashboard; the mount is designed to resist softening and dropping under sunlight over time. The form factor is aimed at truck and trailer drivers who want a less intrusive display package.
Pros
- True 1080P wireless video with digital signal hopping
- IP69 nano-coated waterproofing and wide temp range
- Compact 5" display and 360° adjustable suction mount
Cons
- Power and camera wiring is relatively thin
- Suction cup may need extra securing for long-term use
- Indoor/vehicle range shorter than open-air max distance
VerdictA practical, compact wireless backup camera package for trucks and towables. It delivers crisp 1080P video over a secure 2.4GHz digital link, shifts to night mode automatically, and survives extreme weather thanks to IP69 nano-coating. The 5" screen is less intrusive than larger monitors and the 360° swivel suction mount gives flexible placement. Expect straightforward wiring to reverse or tail ci

Quick setup with pre-wired system
Delivery was fast and installation simple on my 2021 Geo-Pro G15TB since it had a prewired interface. After reconnecting the trailer’s 7-pin to the tow vehicle, the camera powered up and produced a crisp image. I plan to test it more on the road and update later.

Dependable on truck and 25' trailer
This system reliably connected when mounted on the rear of a 25' trailer and delivered a clear image even in low light. The small camera fit neatly over the plate and was easy to tie into the plate illumination circuit for power.

Mixed results — good angles, some lag
The unit works adequately. The cable length was short for my SUV and the wireless feed has some lag compared with wired units. The image brightness and adjustments are fine, and the wide angle helped me align the hitch after I discovered the camera can tilt vertically.

Exactly what I needed for trailer hookups
This camera made connecting trailers easier. Installation was straightforward and the image quality is very acceptable for the price. Night vision performs well enough for regular reversing tasks.

Great picture, wiring needs work
The display is excellent and the camera paired immediately. Mounting and instructions were clear. My gripe is the wiring: the cable is thin and finicky to splice, and the included inline splice didn’t handle it well. A trip to the auto parts store fixed the issue.

Solid performance on my trailer
The camera and monitor gave me clear pictures and felt worth the cost. I mounted it on the top rear of my Jayco X18 trailer and wired into the center running light. The job took some soldering because the trailer wiring was thinner than the included crimp connectors, but after soldering and securing the mount it has worked reliably.

Great results for the price
Excellent outcome for the cost and straightforward to fit.

Good value, some mounting compromises
Running the wires into the cabin required a drilled hole and careful stripping because the conductors are very thin. The large screen is decent, but I didn’t trust the suction cup, so I used Velcro on the dash. I wired it for continuous use as a second mirror; the feed is generally stable with occasional stutter.

High-quality build and recording feature
After returning a flimsy competitor, this system impressed me: the license-plate bracket is solid, the second camera is sturdy, and the 7" monitor is sharp. It also supports 1080p recording to an SD card (up to 128GB). Extra test wires and connectors were handy before permanent install.

Excellent range and display options
Overall a great system: the monitor shows a crisp picture, supports multiple camera layouts and the wireless range is impressive. I left two cameras powered indoors and was able to walk over a kilometer away before the signal dropped, so range should not be a concern in RV setups.

Perfect for trailer use
Fits my horse trailer well, gave an excellent signal and was easy to install. I’m very satisfied and would recommend it.

Simple pairing and extra camera option
The package arrived quickly and customer service supplied an additional RV camera when requested. Pairing that extra camera as a second feed was straightforward. I mounted it on the camper and tied it to the clearance light circuit; the image is very clear and it provides a useful trailing view.

Well suited for towing after research
I compared wired and wireless options for towing my 42' fifth-wheel. With a background in radio and medical camera systems, I found this wireless two-camera option offered reliable links and good video. The unit generally behaved better than some other reports suggested, once set up correctly.
