Product review
WHAT YOU GET – This kit comes with an ABS plastic enclosure, a 3010-size cooling fan, three adhesive heatsinks, a MicroUSB 5V 3A power adapter with an integrated on/off rocker, mounting screws, a small screwdriver and non-slip rubber feet. The Raspberry Pi board is not included.
COMPATIBILITY – The case is molded to fit Raspberry Pi 3B, Raspberry Pi 3B+ and Raspberry Pi 2B circuit boards. It is not compatible with Raspberry Pi 4 or Raspberry Pi 5 form factors. Verify your board model before assembling.
ACTIVE COOLING COMPONENTS – A compact 3010 fan is installed to force air across the board while the three heatsinks attach to the main chips to conduct heat away. The fan speed and heatsink placement are intended to reduce thermal throttling during emulation, media playback and continuous server tasks.
MODULAR, LAYERED ASSEMBLY – The enclosure uses a layered design that makes it simple to assemble with the included hardware and screwdriver. The fan and heatsinks remain accessible after build for routine cleaning or maintenance.
PORT ACCESS AND LIMITATIONS – Cutouts provide access to USB, Ethernet, HDMI, audio/video, MicroUSB power and the microSD card slot. Taller HATs, extra-tall add-ons or bulky HDMI cables may need additional clearance or external mounting because of the compact footprint.
USE CASES – The compact desktop footprint suits RetroPie setups, Home Assistant instances, lightweight media centers, maker learning labs and general Raspberry Pi hobby projects. Check accessory clearance if you plan to use large HAT boards or custom wiring.
Pros
- Complete kit with fan, heatsinks and PSU
- Easy layered assembly and maintenance
- Cuts temperatures noticeably under load
Cons
- Fan can be loud at short distance
- No openings for power/activity LEDs
- Small slot may interfere with some GPIO pins
VerdictA compact, hands-on case kit that brings active cooling and a ready-to-use power adapter to Raspberry Pi 3-series boards. Assembly is straightforward and the fan plus heatsinks noticeably reduce operating temperatures, though the fan can be audible at close range and some GPIO/LED clearances require attention. Good for general hobby projects and media or server builds that don’t need extreme overc

Quiet and effective for my detector
Fan set to low is silent and maintains cool chip temperatures — ideal for my detector project.

Performance and thermal limits with Pi 3 Model B v1.2
Stable at stock 1200 MHz with no power issues; the adapter and enclosure perform well. Pushing to 1300 MHz triggers thermal throttling and causes stutters in PlayStation/MAME/N64 emulation. For everyday use it’s fine, but the included fan is insufficient for sustained overclocking — better cooling is recommended for extreme tuning.

Smart design, quick setup
Thoughtful engineering and clear instructions made assembly fast — up and running in about 15 minutes. Would give 10 stars if I could.

Does what it claims
Performs as advertised with no functional issues. Fan is a bit noticeable if you’re within a couple of feet, which is expected.

Impressive cooling and access
Really moves air — keeps temps down. Panels open easily for access and it looks tidy on the desk.

Handy power switch and solid fit
Small, neat enclosure with heatsinks included and a power adapter that has a useful on/off switch. Easy to assemble and not overly loud even at higher fan speed.

Real cooling, adjustable noise
Simple to build. High fan speed is loud but drops temps from roughly 60°C to 40°C; low speed is much quieter and stabilizes near 45°C. Keeps my Pi Hole running smoothly.

Works but lacks LED access
Fits Pi 2/3 fine, however there are no cutouts for the power/activity LEDs. I need visible activity indicators, so I may return it.

Power adapter missing in my unit
Case fits perfectly and feels sturdy for plastic. Mine did not include the power supply that the listing suggested.

High quality but minor GPIO clearance issue
Very solid build and excellent accessories. One small internal slot blocks the ground pin (Pin 6) on the GPIO, so I moved the fan ground to another pin. The board mounts securely and mounting screws are included. Be careful placing the small gold heatsink near the wireless chip — it can sit close to GPIO pins and risk bridging them.
