Product review

Reinforced three-rod hairpin legs, 28 inches in height, designed for heavier projects where strength and stability matter. Each leg features triple carbon-steel rods welded into a reinforced top plate centered under the mounting area; this added bracing reduces flex and resists deformation under load. The manufacturer rates the assembly to support up to 1,300 pounds when weight is distributed across the attached surface.

Materials and finish: constructed from carbon steel with a tube wall thickness of approximately 3/8". The legs are covered in a golden powder-coat finish that resists minor scratches and gives a decorative metallic look. The color tends toward a warm gold tone rather than a high-shine mirror finish.

What’s included: four identical 28" hairpin legs, mounting hardware (screws) and four floor-protecting foot pieces. Each leg comes with a pre-drilled mounting plate to speed up alignment and fastening to any flat underside—boards, slabs, or repurposed tops.

Use cases: suitable for making coffee tables, end tables, nightstands, benches, dining tables, desks and other supported surfaces where a mid-century or modern industrial aesthetic is wanted. The height fits many standard end-table and bench designs without needing modification.

Installation notes: attach the pre-drilled plates to the underside of your chosen top with the provided screws; confirm screw length so it does not penetrate the surface. The protective feet reduce noise and protect flooring; some users replace or remove adjustable feet for a cleaner look or firmer contact on uneven floors.

Pros

  • Robust triple-rod, welded top plate design
  • High load capacity (up to 1,300 lb distributed)
  • Includes mounting hardware and floor protectors

Cons

  • Protective/adjustable feet feel inexpensive
  • Occasional slight lateral movement on some sets
  • Gold is a warm tone, not a high-shine metallic

VerdictThese 28-inch, three-rod hairpin legs are a sturdy option for DIY tabletops and furniture upgrades. The carbon-steel tubes (3/8" wall) and welded middle plate increase rigidity and allow up to 1,300 lb of distributed load. The golden powder coat gives a refined look, and each leg ships with a pre-drilled mounting plate, screws and protective foot pads for quick installation. Watch for modest later

    Good once modified

Legs perform well if you remove the adjustable feet; those little feet look and feel cheap.

  2. Kaden Beattie 5/5

    Minor wobble

Functionally they work great, but there’s a bit of lateral wobble. I used pan-head screws with washers and kept adjustable feet short to limit play.

  3. Kat 1/5

    Damaged on arrival

Nice looking, but arrived damaged despite heavy packaging — disappointing that it shipped in that condition.

    Solid legs

I recommend these hairpin legs. Sturdy and exactly what I needed for a small table project.

Not my pick for mid-century modern

I tried the golden finish hoping for a different look, but it fights with my mid-century pieces; black would blend better. Build quality is good and they are stout. The rubber floor pads can pop off too easily, which is the only small complaint.

    Subtle gold, well made

All four arrived without dents or bends and were individually wrapped. Welds are visible but neat. The gold tone is muted and not garish, and the finish was free of scratches. Height worked perfectly for end tables I’m building, and the legs feel robust enough for two thick butcher-block tops.

  7. Customer Review 4/5

    Everything except the tabletop

My partner and I make custom tops, so these were ideal — they include all mounting hardware but not the top, which is expected. Installation was straightforward and the legs feel solid. A couple look slightly splayed rather than perfectly square, but that hasn’t caused issues. The gold is a warm, painted tone rather than a mirror metallic, so check that it suits your décor. Overall a good value and true to stated dimensions.

    Fits wide slab perfectly

Works well for my 28" live-edge top. Stable and the spacing is wide enough for support.
