Product review
This kit includes 30 wooden blocks and 14 double-sided activity cards. The blocks break down into 26 embossed cubes, each about 1.5 inches square, that display letters, numbers, pictures and colors on their faces, plus four larger activity/game blocks that focus on animals, body parts, emotions and movement prompts. The cards feature matching, counting, game ideas and developmental-tips on both sides to extend play and reinforce learning.
Blocks are crafted from FSC-certified wood and printed with vivid inks; the set is packaged in a reusable cardboard storage box for simple cleanup and transport. It was developed in collaboration with Ms. Rachel and early childhood specialists, so the activities are geared toward language development, turn-taking, social-emotional learning, and early math and literacy concepts. The pieces are sized for toddler hands to promote grasping, stacking and pincer grip practice.
Intended for children 18 months and older, this collection is meant for a range of uses: independent stacking, parent-led naming and singing activities, group turn-taking games, and simple matching or sorting challenges. The FSC certification listed for this product applies to new inventory only (FSC C156584).
Pros
- FSC-certified wooden pieces with bright illustrations
- Includes 14 double-sided cards with game and learning ideas
- Designed with early learning experts for multi-skill play
Cons
- Blocks are small and can show wear with rough play
- Cardboard storage is lightweight for travel
- Printed surfaces may fade or rub off with moisture
VerdictThis hands-on set combines durable, FSC-certified wooden blocks with guided activity cards to turn simple play into purposeful learning. The 1.5-inch embossed letter and number cubes plus four themed game blocks encourage fine motor work, language practice, and cooperative games. While most families will find the pieces colorful and engaging, expect lightweight storage and standard wooden toy wear

My grandkids adore them
The grandchildren love these blocks and reach for them all the time. I’d purchase the set again without hesitation.

Good idea, some durability issues
Fun and colorful with a lot packed into the set, but one block began to splinter after limited play and some print rubbed off. The cards are thin for toddlers who tear everything. Overall educational value is high, though watch for wear and avoid wet cleaning.

Smaller than expected and some flaws
They don’t feel as heavy-duty as other wooden toys I own. Several cubes arrived with chips in the paint and a couple had dents. Size is smaller than pictures suggested.

Great for small hands and early skills
Perfectly sized for little fingers to practice pincer grip and stacking. The multi-sided designs make matching and identifying letters and numbers much more engaging than plain blocks. They’ve held up to daily play so far.

Versatile and colorful blocks
Nice quality and very versatile. The cubes are medium but lean small; bright colors and multiple themes on each face keep play varied. No assembly needed.

Engaging and thoughtfully designed
We’re big Ms. Rachel fans and this set did not disappoint. The wooden cubes feel sturdy, colors are lively, and the emotion faces are very expressive. The activity cards offer simple, helpful ideas for parents, turning block play into intentional learning rather than just stacking. Our toddler enjoys sorting and matching, and we appreciate the focus on speech and turn-taking.

Moldy pieces on arrival
A few blocks were dirty and showed signs of mold or rot straight out of the box, and some edges were rough enough to splinter. Had to return the set.

Odor at first, then fine
There was a faint chemical smell initially, but airing them out fixed it. Paint has held up okay and my child enjoys the set intermittently.
