Product review

What you get: a set of four knife-shaped plush toys, each roughly 6.5 inches long and designed for feline play. The set provides multiple toys so households with several pets can share the fun without constant fighting over one item.

Construction and materials: the exterior is a soft plush fabric that’s pleasant for cats to bite or cuddle. Inside each toy is a layer of crinkle material to produce an enticing rustling noise. The herb blend is organic catnip combined with silvervine; it’s sun-dried and contained in a small non-woven sachet to preserve aroma and reduce mess.

How it performs: cats tend to kick, toss, carry, and chew these pieces. The crinkle and scent work together to promote bursts of activity and interactive play, helping indoor pets get exercise and mental stimulation. They’re also well suited to teething kittens who want something to gnaw on.

Durability and care: the plush feels soft but is stitched to resist regular batting and biting. While sturdy for average play and kicking, they are not advertised as indestructible for heavy chewers or aggressive tuggers. Spot-clean gently and rotate toys to maintain interest.

Benefits: these toys aim to reduce boredom by combining sound, texture, and scent. The inclusion of silvervine alongside catnip offers an alternative attractant for cats that react differently to plant stimulants. The compact size makes them easy to toss and retrieve during play sessions.

Pros

  • Four-toy pack reduces sharing conflicts
  • Crinkle noise plus sun-dried catnip and silvervine
  • Soft yet reasonably durable for normal play

Cons

  • Not chew-proof for heavy chewers
  • Scent can fade with time or exposure
  • May not interest catnip-insensitive cats

VerdictFun and effective for many indoor cats: these plush knife toys combine a crinkle sound with organic catnip and silvervine to encourage kicking, pouncing, and cuddling. Durable enough for normal play and useful for teething or boredom relief, though determined chewers may eventually compromise them. Good value thanks to the four-piece set and persistent scent packaging.

    Better than expected for kittens

Bought for a new kitten who loves to bite; he adores these and plays with them constantly. Durable enough for his energetic chewing.

    So entertaining to watch

These look wild but are hilarious as my cats wrestle and carry them. Bright colors, sturdy fabric and they survive active play. A seasonal hit for Halloween antics.

    Would buy again

Really good quality. The inner foil keeps the herbs from leaking and they barely smell initially—pleasantly made.

    Perfect for a teething kitten

My six-month-old kitten can’t get enough of these and is still playing with them after a week. The size is convenient so they don’t disappear, and the crinkle plus catnip help during teething when she chews everything.

    Funny and good value

Amusing design and solid performance for the cost. Very satisfied with this purchase.

    A hit with fosters

A big hit with my foster kittens! Small but adored; also great for Halloween-themed antics and had me laughing at their positions.

Also great for a tiny puppy and cat group play

These little 'knives' are charming and well made. A tiny under-5 lb puppy enjoys chewing them gently and two adult cats also bat them around. Not suitable for larger or aggressive chewers—they’re not indestructible—but perfect for small, gentle mouths and mixed-pet fun.

Loads of amusement for pets and people

My cats loved sprinting around with these in their mouths—very funny to watch. Four toys are great for multi-cat households so nobody needs to hog one. They hold up to kicking, biting, and sucking, and remain intact for a long time. Good value and lots of laughs.

Solid construction and loved by all ages

Made from tough-feeling material with internal crinkle foil that drives cats nuts. Catnip is sewn in and effective for those who react to it. Kittens and our heavy 18 lb adult haven’t torn one yet. I purchased two sets; both get constant use.

Funny design, my cat actually loves them

I bought these mostly for the comical knife shape, and my cat surprised me by loving them. Each is sized well for kicking and chewing, and the crinkle noise keeps her focused. The catnip + silvervine are strong—the toys were grabbed right out of the package. They feel soft yet hold up to normal roughhousing. You get four pieces so it’s handy to rotate. If your cat is a relentless chewer they may wear down over time, and the novelty wears a bit after repeated use, but rotating keeps things lively.

    Sturdy and exactly as shown

Large enough to rabbit-kick and soft to chew. One shy cat who usually ignores toys played with these, looking like a tiny assassin tossing them around. They were a holiday gift and haven’t been destroyed yet despite rough play.

    Short-lived reaction

Worked for about three days after removing packaging, then the appeal dropped off.
