Comfort and construction
This mattress combines a 4.5-inch foam core with an air chamber to create a supportive, cushioned sleep surface. The unit is filled with approximately 12 pounds of foam designed to distribute weight evenly, reduce pressure points, and avoid the springy motion associated with ordinary air beds. The internal weave keeps foam and air spread uniformly throughout the pad.
Capacity and sizing
Designed in a full size, this pad holds up to about 440 pounds, making it suitable for a wide range of body types and shared sleeping. The thickness provides a mattress-like feel rather than the thin padding of lightweight camping pads. Because of its dimensions and foam content, it’s meant for car camping, campers, and basecamp use rather than carrying on long backpacking treks.
Inflation and included accessories
A twist-style valve allows the mattress to self-inflate to a baseline firmness, and fine-tuning is possible by adding or releasing air for personal preference. A compact rechargeable pump is included for rapid inflation and an efficient deflation option — the manufacturer states it can expedite deflation of various sizes in roughly one minute, simplifying packing and storage.
Quiet, stable performance
The hybrid foam-and-air design provides a still, low-noise surface that won’t creak or rub like some air-only models. That stability helps keep both you and a sleeping partner comfortable through the night without disruptive sounds.
Thermal rating and seasonal use
With an advertised R-value of 13, the pad offers robust insulation against cold ground temps and is positioned for year-round use across spring, summer, autumn, and winter. The combination of substantial foam fill and air layering enhances warmth retention compared with many thin inflatable pads.

Pros

  • Thick 4.5" foam-and-air construction for mattress-like comfort
  • High R-value (13) delivers strong insulation in cold conditions
  • Included rechargeable pump speeds inflation and deflation

Cons

  • Bulky and not suitable for backpacking
  • Takes storage space when packed
  • May require two people to pack into a bag comfortably

VerdictThis full-size, self-inflating camping mattress blends foam and air to deliver a stable, customizable sleep surface with excellent thermal performance. The 4.5-inch profile and 12-pound foam fill offer substantial padding and pressure relief, while the internal structure keeps foam and air evenly distributed so you don’t feel that typical inflatable bounce. With an R-value of 13 it performs across

    Easy setup & comfy sleep

Totally paid for itself. Grab the pump — it only takes minutes to inflate. We tried cheaper pads and older air mattresses with little satisfaction; this unit is a clear step up. High quality, quick to set up and to deflate, and the pump makes everything simple.

  2. Erika 5/5

    Top-tier air mattress purchase

Very comfortable sleeping on the tent floor. The self-inflation feature is handy. I noticed it settled better when my partner joined me — alone I could feel the ground under a hip, but together it balanced out nicely.

  3. Maria Arriaga 5/5

    Good, easy bed

Worth the cost in my opinion. I’ve used air mattresses for camping for years and this one changed things. It’s not a full replacement for my bed at home, but it’s very comfortable. I bought a queen; my husband, our toddler, and I fit on it. It stores easily and the pump fills it fast. Only used it once so far, but I’m optimistic for more trips.

  4. Kas 5/5

    Would I recommend it? Absolutely.

We bought these to improve the thin cushions in our pop-up camper. They don’t erase every joint ache, but they are noticeably more comfortable than the factory foam. We lay them on top of the camper’s pads and deflate them to store; they flatten enough that closing the camper isn’t a problem. I haven’t rolled one into its storage bag yet—deflated they seem manageable but might require two people to wrestle into tight cases. They’re bulky but not overly heavy when handled inflated or deflated. Plenty of cushion for our trips and durable enough to keep using.

Camping mattress that transformed our trips

This foam-filled air pad completely upgraded our camping sleep. It’s very comfortable and well insulated without trapping heat like some dense foams do. We woke up feeling like we’d slept on a regular mattress rather than an inflatable. The foam core removes the bouncy sensation you get with typical air beds and provides much better support. The rechargeable pump is a major convenience — it inflates the pad quickly and makes deflation effortless when it’s time to pack. We use it in the back of our SUV and it fits our setup perfectly. After trying this, traditional inflatable camping mattresses feel inadequate. Comfortable, insulated, supportive, and easy to handle.

    Game changer for camping

This mattress changed how we camp. After years of using standard air beds, switching to this hybrid was eye-opening. It feels like a home mattress, stays inflated, and protects you from the hard ground. I can’t vouch for long-term durability yet, but initial impressions are extremely positive. I’m even thinking about buying a smaller one for solo trips. The tiny rechargeable pump works great for both filling and emptying the pad.

  7. Interruptor 5/5

    Very comfortable

Extremely comfortable air mattress compared to others I've tried. Solid padding and a good night’s rest.
