What’s included
The package contains the Cressi F1 frameless mask with integrated silicone skirt, adjustable silicone strap, and side buckles for quick tuning. No snorkel or accessories are bundled unless specified separately by the seller.

Materials & construction
The F1 uses a single or dual tempered-glass lens for scratch resistance and clear optics. The skirt and strap are made from high-grade silicone for a soft seal against the face and long service life. Buckles and folding points are molded plastic designed to let the mask collapse flat for storage.

Sizing & fit
Built for adults, the F1 features a relatively low internal volume that helps with easy clearing and closer lens-to-eye placement for an expanded field of view. The silicone skirt accommodates many face shapes — narrow to average adult faces generally get a secure fit. The nose pocket is compact, which assists in keeping internal volume low but may feel snug for people with larger or longer noses.

How it’s used
The Cressi F1 is intended for snorkeling, freediving, and recreational scuba. Its low volume and soft skirt make it easy to equalize and clear underwater. The quick-adjust buckles let you fine-tune the tension on the go, and the fold-flat design allows you to slip it into a travel bag or luggage without taking up much room. Routine care is the same as other masks: rinse with fresh water after salt or pool use, avoid abrasive cleaners on the silicone, and store away from direct sunlight.

Pros

  • Wide, unobstructed field of view
  • Folds flat for compact travel storage
  • Soft silicone skirt gives a comfortable seal

Cons

  • Nose pocket is relatively small for some users
  • Can fog if not pretreated or handled properly
  • Some may prefer a different profile for very large faces

VerdictThe Cressi F1 is a lightweight, travel-oriented snorkel and scuba mask that emphasizes visibility and comfort. Its frameless profile keeps the lens close to the face to expand peripheral vision, while the tempered glass and soft silicone skirt provide reliable clarity and seal. The folding design makes it convenient for packing. It performs well for snorkeling, freediving, and recreational scuba,

A clear upgrade over budget masks

Super comfortable and a noticeable step up from the cheap department-store options. Comfortable to wear and a worthwhile upgrade.

    Très satisfaite, je recommande

Très contente de la qualité. Bon produit, je le recommande.

    Delivered solid performance on vacation

Used this for the first time on a snorkeling trip in Thailand and it worked exactly as hoped. I have a larger nose and usual masks dig in; the F1 didn’t cause that pain. The strap adjustment is simple and the silicone seal prevented leaks. Glad I brought it along—saved a lot of hassle.

  4. Dyfan 5/5

A dependable window to the sea

A straightforward, effective mask. The frameless layout lowers internal volume and reduces mask squeeze. Worked flawlessly on my last trip and is cheap enough to keep as a backup in a kit.

  5. Kati 5/5

    Crystal-clear view and a leak-free fit

I’ve tried several masks and this one immediately stood out. The silicone skirt felt soft and sealed without needing a very tight strap. The frameless design brings the glass closer to the face, widening the field of view, and the tempered lens stayed sharp with no edge distortion. After an hour in the water there were no pressure points like with bulkier models.

Very satisfied — good for spearfishing

Good value for the performance. I use it for spearfishing: field of view is excellent, it’s comfortable and feels solid underwater. A couple of friends with larger noses had fit issues, and like many new masks it may fog until treated, but a quick prep fixes that.

Made in Taiwan and performs well

These are manufactured in Taiwan but outperformed some Italian-made goggles I tried. I recommend them, though they are a bit pricey compared with basic alternatives.

Perfect for kids and slim-faced teens

We have two of these for my children after finding one while snorkeling. Both kids wear them for hours without complaints of leaking or discomfort. Available in different colors to match gear, they’ve remained in great condition after four years with regular rinsing. They’re ideal for petite adults or narrow-faced youngsters; wider noses may not find the fit as comfortable.

    Sizing unclear when shopping online

The listing said 'standard' but the lens was marked M/L and the nose pocket is among the smallest Cressi makes. If I’d seen it in person I might have chosen differently. My nose is average and it fits me, but those with wider or longer noses should compare size charts. Also, it’s made in Taiwan, not Italy.

Comfortable for deep dives — no annoying pressure

I’ve been snorkeling and freediving for years in Florida and recently started scuba. Other masks used to press on my forehead and nose and got uncomfortable past about 20 ft. The frameless F1 removed that pressure completely. I descended to 73 ft on a wreck with zero discomfort. The skirt seals well even with some facial hair and I didn’t get any leaks. Like any mask, it can fog if you don’t prepare it, so take a moment to treat the inner lens before your first use.

Great fit for small, round faces

This mask fits my wife’s small, rounded face very well — it even sticks lightly to her face without the strap. The skirt is soft and seals nicely, and the glass gives a wide, clear view. The buckles are easy to use. We bought a neoprene strap cover separately to prevent hair pull, which was a good idea for her hairstyle and made the set look nicer.
