Product review

Included in the pack are six individual back-of-heel cushion pads intended for adult footwear. Each pad is shaped to sit behind the heel inside the shoe and help fill gap or cushion a worn area.

The attachment uses a strong self-adhesive layer built with a double-sided tape compound designed to minimize shifting. Peel the protective liner away and press the pad into place for a secure hold.

The pads are ergonomically molded to follow the curve of the heel, reducing direct pressure and friction that cause blisters, calluses and soreness. The cushioning helps distribute force at that common wear point.

Top materials combine breathable leather with a soft foam interior for sweat-wicking comfort. The leather surface reduces rubbing while the foam offers shock-absorbing support during walking or standing.

Installation is straightforward—peel and stick—and the low-profile shape fits most shoes, including boots, high heels, leather dress shoes and casual sneakers. They can be trimmed if needed to better match shoe contours.

Pros

  • Comfortable leather top and foam core
  • Strong double-sided adhesive for secure hold
  • Fits a wide range of shoe types

Cons

  • Adhesion can fail with heavy sweat or intense activity
  • May be too large for some sneakers without trimming
  • A few packages arrived with hygiene issues

VerdictThese six heel liners deliver immediate padding and generally hold well thanks to a heavy-duty double-sided adhesive. The contoured foam and leather top layer cut friction and cushion the rear of the foot, easing hotspots and protecting against blisters. Performance varies with activity and sweating: many users report long-lasting adhesion and noticeable relief, while a few experienced adhesive fa

    Didn’t stay in place

They did not remain stuck in my pair of shoes.

  2. CSM 5/5

Easy application and relief for heel pain

I put these in shoes for a friend who uses a wheelchair and had new-shoe heel pain. They were simple to apply, didn’t make shoes harder to put on, and provided noticeable relief.

  3. Nonya Bizness 1/5

    Failed in my cowboy boots

I tried them in cowboy boots and the backing didn't hold — the pad came off and slid into the footbed the first time I stepped in. They were also too large for my tennis shoes, so they didn’t work for me.

  4. Jeff D. 5/5

    Durable adhesion and good cushioning

Surprised at how well they adhered to the worn heel of my steel-toed work boots despite daily on-and-off use. The padding has held up for months and outlasted the moleskin I used previously.

  5. BeeBee 2/5

Received two pads that looked used

One small pack contained two pads stuck together with hair attached — pretty off-putting. The rest of the order worked fine, so I rated it low but not completely unusable.

    Holds firm after trimming

I trimmed each pad a bit to fit as recommended and they worked great — I ended up ordering more. My shoes always wear at that spot and these have helped extend their life; I even added them to a new pair as a precaution.

Helps with blisters but needs stronger glue

Bought for our 15-year-old whose new shoes were rubbing. She noticed relief immediately and now wears them often, but the adhesive loosens with sweaty feet and requires frequent repositioning.
