Kit contents and packaging: This set contains 12 individual emergency wound-closure devices. Each closure strip is packaged separately in a sealed foil pouch to keep them sanitary until use.
Materials and construction: The strips combine a hypoallergenic adhesive pad with a breathable fabric backing and small plastic pull posts. The adhesive is designed for medical-grade stickiness while minimizing skin irritation. The fabric layer permits airflow to the wound to help reduce moisture buildup. The pull posts and connecting suture have high tensile strength to hold wound edges together reliably during the initial healing phase.
How to apply: Clean and dry the wound area. Peel open one pouch, remove the strip, and align the adhesive pads on opposing sides of the cut so the wound edges meet. Press the pads firmly to secure them to the skin. Lift and pull the tiny plastic posts or buckles to draw the closure suture tight, then press the remaining adhesive sections to lock everything in place.
Performance and fit: These strips are intended for small to moderate linear lacerations and work well on relatively flat surfaces. They are a painless alternative to immediate suturing, helping reduce secondary trauma by avoiding needle-based closure in the field. Because they rely on surface adhesion and plastic pull posts, the fit can be less comfortable under tight footwear or on very mobile areas.
When to carry and safety notes: A useful addition to home, car, workplace, or outdoor first-aid kits for hiking, camping, or cycling. Not a substitute for professional medical evaluation when wounds are deep, irregular, or involve nerves, tendons, or heavy bleeding. If in doubt, seek clinical treatment.

VerdictThese closure strips provide a fast, noninvasive way to approximate small lacerations when stitches aren’t immediately available. They’re individually wrapped for hygiene, use hypoallergenic materials and offer strong tensile hold while remaining breathable. Best suited for straight cuts on flat areas; they can struggle on sweaty skin or high-flex spots like toes and knuckles. Keep them in any fir

Tightens skin and stays on in showers
I had a big calf cut and these pulled the skin together very well. They stayed secure through two showers and helped the wound start healing. Recommend for side cuts on flat areas of the body.

Handy to have around the house
Great to keep on hand for unexpected cuts. When needed these closure strips brought the wound edges together and protected the area while it healed. Handy item to store at home.

Saved the day after surgery
After a partial kidney surgery one incision wouldn't close. These strips finally held the edges together when nothing else did. They were the only thing that worked — quick, effective and easy to use.

Sealed a work cut fast
I work with sheet metal and slice myself occasionally. I kept these in my truck and used one after I cut my arm. They sealed the wound well, though they didn't stick as well until I cooled off from sweating. Would add to any first-aid kit.

Odd fit for finger knuckles
I cut my knuckle badly and these didn't stick long on the curved, moving skin. After bandaging and airing it, the first pair fell off, so I reapplied and wrapped it better. The closure looked cleaner than open wound care and felt strange but effective during healing.

Works, but painful in shoes
They closed my wound well, but the little plastic pull posts hurt when I wore shoes. I used padding around them which helped, but if you need something for the foot, look for a closure that doesn't have raised plastic buckles.
