Product review
This product is a single coccyx seat cushion intended to make ordinary chairs more supportive for the lower back and tailbone. It ships as one wedge-style pad with a removable outer cover and a foam interior.
The internal foam is shaped with a gradual slope so the rear edge is lower than the front, helping tip the pelvis forward and discourage slouching. The rear of the cushion has a 3-inch cutout that reduces direct pressure on the coccyx to relieve tailbone pain and tension in the lower lumbar region.
It’s marketed for versatile use: place it on dining room chairs, office chairs, car seats, wheelchairs, stadium seats or portable seating for events and travel. The cover is polyester, removable, and machine washable; a sewn-in handle makes it easier to carry from place to place.
Key dimensions are 15 x 14 x 1.5 to 3 inches (front-to-back slope from about 1.5 up to 3 inches). The cushion is lightweight and intended to be a portable comfort aid rather than a heavy medical device.
Pros
- Relieves pressure on the tailbone with a 3-inch cutout
- Machine-washable polyester cover with carry handle
- Portable and usable on many seat types (car, office, wheelchair)
Cons
- May feel too firm or too tall for some users
- Can slide on smooth seats without extra grip
- Not wide enough for some chairs or large seats
VerdictA simple, portable wedge that redirects weight away from the tailbone and nudges the pelvis into a more ergonomic position. The polyester cover and foam core make it easy to use across multiple seats and to launder when needed. Some users find it firmer or narrower than expected and it can shift on slick surfaces, but for many it provides noticeable relief during driving, office work, or travel.

Helps hip pain in the car but could be wider
It relieved my hip pain while driving by angling my legs straighter. I wish it were a little wider to cover the whole seat; I find myself adjusting it frequently. Still, it’s been helpful.

Noticeable posture improvement
These cushions do help. I keep one in the car and another on the couch.

Not actually a full 3 inches at the hips
This cushion gives a slope that lowers the knees a bit, but measured at the hips it’s short of the advertised 3 inches — closer to 2¾. I’m deciding whether to keep it or look for one with a larger rise. As a therapist I know knees lower than hips helps for long sitting sessions.

Too firm for lying down use, fine for desk chair
It works well on an office chair but feels overly firm when I try to use it in bed to relieve my tailbone. It’s a bit tall and doesn’t compress much, which might suit heavier people but wasn’t ideal for my body after rapid weight loss. I weigh about 160 lbs.

Opens hip angle and makes driving bearable after disc injuries
My surgeon and PT advised opening the hip-to-chest angle after two herniated discs. This wedge lowers my knees and allows me to recline slightly, which eases lumbar strain while driving. I bought the 15-inch size and trimmed the sides to fit my bucket seats so it wouldn't bunch. The foam (labeled polyethylene) is soft enough to be comfortable but still supportive — without it long drives were unbearable.

Comfortable and convenient for walker and shopping carts
My tailbone hurt badly and this pad provided noticeable comfort. I like the handle — I attach it to my walker with hooks so I don’t have to carry it. It’s great on bumpy store riding carts as the foam is sturdy. Very pleased with the support.

Slides on seats and poor seller responsiveness
I couldn’t get a return processed through the retailer and the seller didn’t reply to my messages. The cushion has no anti-slip base, so it slid around on my chair whenever I moved. In the car it shifted forward when I braked and that felt unsafe. I had to stop using it.

Durable after years of regular use
I’ve used this for about three years and it’s holding up well. I take it on long drives, to the couch, theaters and even on planes. It has lost some support over time but remains useful. The shape and construction have lasted beyond my expectations.

Too soft at the rear, caused back discomfort
The back of the cushion sinks in too much for me and ended up hurting my back rather than helping.

Poor stitching and low-quality material
The sewing is sloppy and the fabric feels cheap. I kept it because I urgently needed something, but workmanship is disappointing.

Major relief for severe tailbone and nerve pain
My mother has an L1 fracture and diabetic nerve pain that made sitting agonizing. She tried many options but this cushion reduced tailbone pressure and encouraged better posture. We bought a second so she could leave one in the car. She uses it most of the day and the original still feels supportive.
