Dilution and maintenance: Follow the recommended viscosity guidelines before spraying to achieve even atomisation and to reduce runs and orange peel. Aim for roughly 120 DIN viscosity for finer atomisation with thinner coatings. Clean the unit within 15 minutes of finishing to prevent paint build-up and blockages and to extend the tool's service life.
Construction and ergonomics: The Dreamer400 uses aerospace-grade materials in its construction to lower weight — about 48% lighter than many conventional models — and features an ergonomic grip that reduces hand fatigue. The lighter build makes extended work on decking, trim or masonry more comfortable for users of all strengths.
Power and capacity: A high-power motor supports a maximum spray output of around 450 milliliters per minute. The sprayer accepts a 600-milliliter paint container, letting you cover larger areas between refills and improving jobsite efficiency for fences, walls and furniture.
Nozzles and spray control: The kit includes two nozzle tips (1.5 mm and 2.0 mm). Use the 1.5 mm tip for sealers, varnishes and thinner materials; select the 2.0 mm tip when applying thicker coatings such as latex, chalk or milk paints. Three selectable spray patterns — vertical, horizontal and circular — let you tailor the fan and overlap to suit panels, rails, fences and trim.
Operation tips and support: Pull the trigger for steady coverage on wood, metal and other substrates. For smooth finishes, thin paints as directed and keep the gun moving at a consistent distance. The manufacturer offers customer support for setup, spraying techniques and maintenance issues, and stands behind the product for user assistance.

Does the job
Performs reliably. You have to thin latex before spraying since it won't handle straight from the can; models that skip thinning cost a lot more. Covered a room and my shed without problems.

Helpful customer support
Great for small jobs like repainting furniture. When an issue came up their support team responded quickly and helped resolve it. I would purchase from them again based on that experience.

Simple, lightweight sprayer
Easy to hold and operate. After using several HVLP guns, this one hits a nice balance of simplicity and low weight. Mostly plastic, but with regular cleaning it kept working like new for months.

Delivered on a fence stain
Used it to stain a 6 ft tall by 30 ft long new fence and it did an impressive job. The trick is cleaning it right after each day's work. I preferred the steady power over battery alternatives.

A little finicky
After a few uses it became difficult to reopen, though it still sprays adequately. Otherwise it performs as expected.

Surprisingly effective once figured out
Was unsure at first, but once I chose the correct spray pattern it was excellent for staining deck rails. Only clogged twice; make sure to stir paints and stains well. Lightweight with good coverage.

Keeps clogging
Very frustrating. Even after thinning as directed it clogged every few minutes. Would rate it far below average if I could.

Great starter unit
My first sprayer — it covers well, though at times the output felt too heavy even at low settings. Still learning the controls, but overall I'm pleased with it.
